Karkala, Dec 16: A man, who was frustrated at the helpless situation he was in over the sufferings of his child, killed himself on Monday December 14 night. He has been identified as Suresh Kulal (38), a resident of Chennibettu near Kadthala here.
Kulal hanged himself at his home. Suresh, a coolie by profession, was addicted to liquor. He had spent lot of money on treating and providing dialysis to the child. He already was facing financial constraints over his drinking habit, and ill health of the child had heaped more miseries on him, it is said.
Unable to take this anymore, Kulal hanged himself at his home, it is learnt. A report in this respect was filed in he police station here.
