Mangaluru, Dec 19: Forum Fiza Mall will hold a Christmas carol singing competition on Tuesday December 22 onwards from 6 pm.
The winners will take away handsome gift vouchers worth Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 for the first, second and third place respectively.
The last date to submit entries is December 20, so hurry up and register your team now.
Rules and regulations:
The competition is only for carol songs to be sung in English. All songs should communicate the message of Christmas. Each singing group can have a minimum of six participants and a maximum of 12 participants only. Every team should mention the name of their team leader along with appropriate details in order to communicate the information regarding the event.
All completed applications should be forwarded with the name, address, emergency contact number and signature. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Registration fee of Rs 300 pay-cheque in favour of Prestige Mangalore Retail Ventures Private Limited has to be paid in advance on or before December 20.
Teams are requested to confirm their registration at the customer service desk at Forum Mall on or before December 20, 2015.
Participating team has to submit its registration forms by hand and thereby confirm with the organizers regarding the receipt of their application. The exact time of the competition, registration and slot will be communicated to the team leader one day before the competition.
Each team will get 15 minutes on stage for their presentation which includes the time for setting and presentation. The first alarm will be at ten minutes and the closing alarm will be at 15 minutes. The participating teams should bring their own 'Minus one Track' in pen drives/mobile phones only. However, organizers will arrange for required speakers and other infrastructure but no musical instruments will be allowed. Individuals participating in one group, representing one church/institution cannot participate simultaneously in the groups of other church/institutions.
The decision of judges/mall management will be final. Any other grievances regarding the event can be reported and represented only by the team leader to the mall management in writing. The decision of the mall management team will be final and binding all. The announcement of results along with prize distribution will take place on January 2 and 3, 2016.
The last date to submit the registration form is December 20, 2015. The Forum Mall management reserves the rights to withdraw the concept, amend and modify the above terms and conditions without giving any prior notice or reasons. The organizers reserve the right to publish the name and pictures of the winners. Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions set by the mall management.
