Dubai, Dec 20: A treat awaits Tulu fans in the UAE, as super hit comedy movie 'Chaali Polilu' that has created a record in the Tulu film industry is all set to premiere in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on Thursday December 24 and Friday December 25, respectively.
Two shows of the movie will be screened at 4 pm on December 24 and 5 pm on December 25 at Lamsi Theatre in Lamsi Plaza, Dubai. In Abu Dhabi, the movie will be screened at Eldorado theatre on December 24 at 4 pm.
The movie has been produced by Prakash Pandeshwar under the banner of Jayakirana Films. Directed by Veerendra Shetty Kavoor, 'Chaali Polilu' has set a record in the Tulu film industry by becoming the longest running movie ever.
Renowned actors Devdas Kapikad, Navin D Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Arvind Bolar, Arjun Kapikad, Sunder Rai Mandara, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Umesh Mijar, Chetan Rai, Laxman Kumar Mallur, Divya Shree, Surendra Bantwal, Padmajarao and others have acted in the movie.
'Chaali Polilu' has also been released in the USA, the UK and Australia, where it has received good response. The movie has a good story, message and comedy and is able to garner the attention of people from all walks of life.
Cinematography by Uttkal Nayanar, music by V Manohar, and background music by Manikanth Kadri have been much appreciated.
This two-and-a-half hour comedy movie is a complete family entertainer.
