Harish plays baddie in Nani's next

Chennai, Dec 20 (IANS): Popular for playing the antagonist's role in southern cinema, actor Harish Uthaman has teamed up with "Eega" star Nani in his yet-untitled Telugu project which is on the verge of completion.

"I play the main villain and I sport a totally different look," Harish told IANS, adding that it was so much fun working on the film.

Being directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by 14 Reels Entertainment, the film is gearing up for release in January next year.

"We're just left with a few days of shoot. This is a total entertainer and the ensemble cast also features kids. I'm confident that the film will appeal to everybody," he said.

Talking about his next Telugu project "Express Raja", which features Sharwanand in the lead, he said: "I recently watched the film and all of us are super positive about the product."

The actor is gung-ho about his other Telugu project, which he describes as a "biggie" with a leading star.

"I haven't signed the papers yet. It'll be a very big film and I hope to ring in the New Year with it," he said.

In Tamil, Harish currently awaits the release of three films -- "Vil Ambu", "Paisal" and a yet-untitled project with Dhanush.
