Doha: QAID conducts maiden get together 'Genesis'

Doha, Dec 23: For the first time an association only for Indian dentists in the country was formed by the name Qatar Association of Indian Dentists (QAID), affiliated to the Indian Cultural Centre under the aegis of the Embassy of India, Qatar. This association has been formed with the noble intention of conducting regular professional activities like continuing dental education programmes, camps and other extra-curricular activities beneficial to the dental community and the public.








The executive committee, Dr Mohammed Hashif (president), Dr Rancin Mohammed (vice president), Dr Muhammed Parvez (general secretary), Dr Anand Induchoodan (joint secretary), Dr Abdul Rahim Parambil (treasurer), Dr Shabeer Abdulla, Dr Sunil Suresh, Dr Sajad Sainulabdeen (CDE Conveners), Dr Pradeep Unnikrishnan (auditor and social security scheme) and Dr Mansoor Khan (media and publicity).

This association has more than one hundred and fifty registered dentists. They conducted a maiden get together 'Genesis' on November 26 at Hotel Crowne Plaza. Dr Muhammed Hashif presided over the function, Dr Muhammed Parvez spoke about the goals of QAID, Dr Sunil Suresh briefed on CDE programmes and accreditation, Dr Mansoor Khan gave the vote of thanks and Dr Anand Induchoodan compered the event. The event was well attended by all the members.
