Mangaluru, Dec 23: Banks will remain closed for the next 4 days on account of festivals and weekend.
Though the banks say they have enough cash in their ATMs during the long weekend and will make arrangements to fill the ATMS in time with sufficient cash, there have been instances in the past where ATMs have run dry. In such cases, banks have turned blind eye blaming shortage of staff, cash and infrastructure during long weekends.
So make sure that you have enough cash. As people tend to spend more during the year end, shortages in ATMs is expected. You cannot go to the bank now anyway, but can fill your pockets with enough cash by visiting the ATM well in advance.

Thursday, December 24 - Eid Milad
Friday, December 25 - Christmas
Saturday, December 26 - Fourth Saturday
Sunday, December 27 - Sunday.
