Will Modi's Pak visit lead to action against terror, Dawood: Shiv Sena, VHP

Mumbai/Allahabad, Dec 26 (PTI): BJP ally Shiv Sena and Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Friday asked if Prime Minister Narendra Modi's sudden visit to Pakistan will lead to effective action against cross-border terrorism as well as terror masterminds like Dawood Ibrahim, Hafiz Saeed and Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi.

"Will Dawood Ibrahim be given to India after today's meeting (between Modi and Sharif)? If this happens, we welcome this visit," Sena spokesman Sanjay Raut said in Mumbai on Friday. He said it will welcome Modi's visit to Lahore if it leads to handing over of Dawood to India and warned against engaging in talks with a country that is "dangerous" and promotes terrorism. Sena said Modi's surprise visit to Pakistan does not appear to be a sudden decision and wondered if the Prime Minister's own party, BJP, will be able to digest this brand of diplomatic push with the neighbouring country.

"The Prime Minister suddenly decides to go to Lahore. Will this be digested by BJP? There is nothing wrong in PMs talking to their counterparts in other countries but is Pakistan a country with which dialogue is possible? I do not think that the meeting (between Modi and Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif) was sudden because such meets don't just happen like that," Raut said. "It is not a crime for PMs to talk to PMs of other countries. In the past too, Prime Ministers, including Atalji (Bihari Vajpayee) had gone to Pakistan. But has anything changed in all these years?" he said.

Raut said if the neighbouring country decides to hand over Dawood, the dreaded gangster and alleged mastermind of 1993 Mumbai serial blasts who is said to be in Pakistan, the visit by Modi will be welcomed by Sena. "Tomorrow is the birthday of India's biggest enemy Dawood Ibrahim. News reports say Nawaz Sharif's Ministers, Members of Parliament, Army and ISI officials and cricketers will attend the birthday celebration. What does this (meeting) mean then?" he said.

Asked if Sena will take up the issue of NDA allies not being taken into confidence before Modi's visit to Lahore, Raut said "this is an international issue." "We cannot have any talks with this dangerous country that promotes terrorism. Only yesterday, 13 people were injured in cross-border firing by Pakistan. How do we talk with Pakistan then?" Raut questioned. VHP international working president Pravin Togadia said in a statement issued in Allahabad that "hatever may be the reasons behind the Prime Minister's surprise visit to Lahore, we hope that his tour of Pakistan leads to effective action by the neighboring country against terrorists operating from their soil." "Pakistan is also the land where 1993 Mumbai serial blasts accused and underworld Dawood Ibrahim has been hiding for more than two decades.

The neighboring country has so far been in a state of denial in this regard. "We hope that our dashing and dynamic PM Modiji's intervention will bring about a radical change", Togadia said. He said "we also sincerely hope that Modiji will compel Pakistan to take effective action against Hafiz Saeed and Lakhvi both of whom have been roaming scot-free in the neighboring country despite their involvement in the dastardly terrorist attack on Mumbai on November 26, 2008.

Even though, I am a ardent critic of PM Modiji, here our PM informal visit to Lahore is quite positive.

If Pakistan PM is not wanted peace with India, then my PM Modiji would not have landed in Lahore with breaking protocol.

It seems, with this visit, both Countries PM conveyed the message that they want peace. Good neighour is always a asset & good for both countries.

Those who raise the voice of this visit about the honesty of Pakistan, I have straight forward question to u all how much honest you are for yourself and to the place where you live in.

Don't ask Modi anything, he doesn't know the answer, he is a dumb caged parrot, he will open his mouth when it is instructed to from Nagpur high command. He may not even know that he paid a surprised visit to Pakistan. Ask directly the Nagpur high command if you want any answers, ignore Modi. So, as long as he is not a threat to any of his goons around he will be sitting on PM chair.

Is this the right protocol? Sending a birthday wish message while flying over Pakistan is good,
but landing without giving the Pakistan Government an early notice was quite contradictory in the international protocol.

Once India recovers from paying to Congress and for Congress, we are sure this resilient national will manage this too. So Dear Congress please please don't worry about the Nation anymore!!

Today whole world is looking at India.
But we Indians busy in blaming modi. Opposition need to review the step taken by modi, later if they foud any mistake let them blame. but its just became a habit to opposition to blame modi as they stalled parliament for reason which is very bad to Indian history.
Opposition is having more responsibility than ruling party. they have to work like teacher. but in India they are working like back benchers.
modis visit to pakistan is right or wrong that is different but
congress dont have moral right to blame as they already begged infront of pakistan media to fulfil their power hunger.

But common people have faith on modi, he will resolve the Pakistan issues as he did with Bangla border issues.

    some one rightly said
"Mr. Modi is a leader can enter to enemy house with out any preplan, but Mr. MMS cant go even to wash room with out permission from High command"

"We hope that our dashing and dynamic PM Modiji's intervention will bring about a radical change,” says Togadia. Will that change ever come if we go on taking a soft stand, paying so called surprise courtesy visits, etc. to a nation breeding and sheltering hardcore terrorists? What was the outcome of Sushmaii’s visit? Except that meetings and talks will be continued, was there any progress? It’s high time we should take a tougher stance till infiltration of terrorists and killing of our soldiers in unprovoked firings are totally stopped.

India - Pak hostilities main contentious issues are Kashmir, bitterness of past wars, border clashes and cross border terrorism.
These issues will take us farther and create more mistrust!
Our similarities are language, food, some culture, music etc. These draws us closer!
Is this similarity will override the first problem?
    We should sensibly analyze!

There is no marks for smart guess that.., - No foolish investor will invest if a neighbour country keep talk about their nuclear capability in response to loose talks by political class belong to Hindustan's govt of the day on Kashmir issues.

I congratulate Modi on Visiting Pakistan. India and Pakistan can not just harbor enmity for the sake of politics and vote bank. India should play a major role in International affairs.Peace between India and Pakistan will be good for both Nations and together they can achieve using their rich resources. We must appreciate Modi on noting this and even working hard on this. Pakistan will have opposition from Army and ISI and in India we can expect extremist Hindu outfits opposing this and unfortunately Congress playing petty politics on this issue.

If i am not mistaken, this b'day drama is nothing but an act of poaching the credit of diplomatic progress/success that achieved after our honorable Minister Sushmaji's visit recently by media savvy Modi.

nation wants to know what tycoon sajjan jindal(brother of naveen jindal of dongi congi) brokering behind the scene. Is D company has any business interest in his steel empire(an out of the box guess).

    Ullu banaawing..,

we all know what our honorable pm namo not achieved in the past 18 months in pak diplomacy, ...was achieved by Smt Sushmaji in the past couple of months.

Let us take a look at what happened to NEPAL diplomacy.., the arm twisting diplomacy through proxies left the poor Nepalis children ping their tears day in and day out on to the empty plates in innocent hands..., that too just b'coz nepal embraced secular constitution...,

Is there anything left for us to feel proud...???

    1. Unfortunately, for the feku bhakts they have to defend something unbelievable for themselves with a heavy heart. Otherwise the shame will stare at them.
    2. What Modi is in Pak for? To stamp the succession plan of Dawood Ibrahim which was supposed be happening on 26th, as reported by news papers?
    3. What the soldiers laying down their blood at the border would be thinking? Coward Pak is gifting bullets to us and our PM is busy eating biryani in pak. How ridiculous this sounds.
    4. What is the outcome of this visit? Is terror from pak going to sieze? Will pak give up its kashmir claim? What is it for Modi is in pak?
    5. Is delhi is getting too hot for Kejriwal and he is now finding cooler place in Islamabad?
    6. Is he giving a message saying his ministers Sushma and V.K Singh failed as foreign ministers?

This is a Modi-Fried diplomacy. Its fun to watch trembling feku bhakts with heavy heart had to defend their fake icon.

Roshan, as usual MODI hate visible not surprised..can you tell, what your Congress cheerleaders did in 60 years, did they stopped wars, terrorism, 26/11!!..every 2 months AIYYAR/KURSHID/TAROOR back pack to pakistan to preach peace, what happened to their lecture? did terrorism stopped..reality is these people using tax payers money to jolly ride & doing their personal work in pakistan..Do you know what MODI acheived?..He successfully avoided HURRIYAT which milked both nations(yes, we pay heavy amount to their leaders)..He avoided TRP hungry crazy national media (derailed many talks with crazy propaganda) during last NSA talks..He showed them we are capable of setting terms..as far as your dear KUJLI is concerned, time will tell who is real leader & who is carp..MODI never failed his voters & he is going strong..forget about elections..Congress can form Govt with 70-80 seats, but its not a Govt..

Never failed his voters? Gimme a break! Was it voters' wish to prolong the time required for realization if achche din to 25 years? Can you imagine what would have happened had an HONEST mention of 25 years was made in the manifesto? You can't justify the blunders/incapabilities of the current regime by pointing finger at 60 years of previous regime. People brought about a change hoping for a better tomorrow. But what they got in the bargain is shift from frying pan to fire.

Modi and BJP,is a utter failure. PDP which is pro-separatist party ruling Kashmir with the help of BJP. Hurriyat is not sidelined, it is in the centre stage. Modi is not setting terms, Modi is following terms set by pak. Who India-Pak cricket series was cancelled? Give it a break. You won't understand nor I wish to make you understand.
