Mangaluru: Land Links celebrates 35th anniversary, inaugurates 'Al Helen' apartments

Mangaluru, Dec 28: The 35th anniversary of Land Links builders was celebrated in a glittering ceremony at Vikas PU College ground, Maryhill here on Sunday December 27. Its new venture 'Al Helen' was also inaugurated on the occasion.

Union law minister Sadananda Gowda inauguarted the 35th anniversary celebration while MLA of Mangaluru South constituency J R Lobo inaugurated Al Helen.

Addressing the gathering, Sadananda Gowda hailed the contribution of Krishna J Palemar in beautyfing the city through the buildings with futuristic planning. "Krishna J Palemar has been implementing the smart city concept through his buildings and infastructure from 35 years and I congratulate him on behalf of the union government on this.

"By 2025, the urban population will be 42 percent of the total population. Hence there is a need to build the required infastructure at a rapid pace. For this, the support of builders like Palemar, the legislators and the public is essential. I congratulate him on his new venture as well," he added.

The MP of Mangaluru constituency Nalin Kumar, after launching the new logo of the 35th year celebration, said, "Since the beginning Krishna J Palemar had the vision to provide shelter to the poor. I wish this good deed continues with many more ventures."

The programme was presided over by MD of Karnataka Bank P Jayaram Bhat.

The proprietor of Land Links Krishna Palemar rendered the keynote address. He announced that as a special offer, Land Links would return the amount paid by the first 35 customers after the completion of 25 years.

MLC Ganesh Karnik, former advocate general of the Karnataka government P V Acharya, corporator Lancelot Pinto, MD of Land Links Pradeep Palemar were among the present.

Manohar Prasad welcomed the gathering and also compered. J K Rao rendered the vote of thanks.

A cultural programme was also held after the glittering formal function.
