Mangaluru: Man's body found floating at Kotepura, murder suspected

Mangaluru, Jan 5: The Ullal police registered a case of murder after an unidentified male body was found floating in the sea at Kotepura here on Tuesday January 3.

The body was highly decomposed with injuries all over it. Moreover, the legs and hands were tied.

The dead man might have been aged around 40-45.

It is suspected that he might have been murdered somewhere else about a week ago and his body thrown into the sea with his hands and legs tied. The body was half naked.

The Ullal police sent the body to a hospital in Deralakatte for post-mortem.

ACP Kalyan Shetty, Ullal SI Bharati and other police personnel visited the spot and registered a murder case.
