With the passing of H.G.Govinde Gowda, we have lost one of the last surviving Gandhian freedom fighters, who have sacrificed their youth for India's independence.

He was a man of principles, who sincerely dedicated himself to the reformation of the education system in Karnataka.

May his soul rest in peace and may his memories and struggles, be a source of inspiration to all of us, to build a better Karnataka, a better India.
