Udupi, Jan 8: Sridhar G (43), promoted as head constable and posted to Karkala police station, has gone missing under mysterious circumstances. Reportedly, he was at his residence till 3.45 pm on December 10. Thereafter, he had left home with the stated purpose of attending night duty at the hospital.
However, he did not report for duty there, nor returned home since then. A missing case stands registered in the town police station here about the incident. The case is under investigation.
Son of Ganapati Shettigar, Sridhar is height 5'8" tall, with wheatish complexion. He was wearing trousers and shirt when he left home.
