Mangaluru: Terror suspects brought to city from Mumbai, produced in court

Mangaluru, Jan 13: Mumbai police on Wednesday January 13 brought two terror suspects with alleged links to Indian Mujahideen to the city, and produced them in the court.

The suspects, identified as Mohammed Naushad and Ahmed Bava Abubakker are linked to the recovery of explosives at Mukkachery, Ullal here in 2007. They were brought here to attend a court hearing in the case.

A total of 13 persons were named as accused in the case. Some among the arrested persons had secured bail earlier.

In 2007, the police had found explosives after a raid on a house at Mukkachery in Ullal. It was during then that police unearthed information about suspected terrorist activities in Mangaluru and around.

    Howmany years you will keep someone as suspect in Jail.....Irony in India is suspect as to rot in Jail for years but known convicts I.e people like Maya kodnani for their barbaric acts are out of jail and click selfies...
    Those who spew hatred and convicted of killing and riots are living healthy life...while wheel chair bound professor G.N saibaba is considered as threat and put in Jail ..When will this bulls#it end in this country...I.e why more than 50% of inmates in Indian jails are either SC/ST or Muslim...

    ..if the fraction of time sickular parties & main stream media using against RSS, if they use against above groups by this time we would have been in better position..day in day out we read news about arrest of terrorists(say accused)..just take data from UPA1,UPA2 to NDA2..Hundreds caught, even some from foreign countries..but every one behind RSS..look at MALDA riots & killing..if there is any invovlement of RSS, buy this time from media to parties would have sought MODI/RAJNATH resignation, secular/communal debate,award wapsi..but there is totally silent, which suggest somethign else..this attitude of media/parties makes more harm to a section of society, either they wont realise gravity of danger or they approve it silently untill it comes door step knocking..
