Kate Moss to pay tribute to Bowie

Los Angeles, Jan 14 (IANS): Singer Kate Moss has asked guests to “channel their inner-Bowie” as she is planning to pay a tribute to the late rock legend David Bowie on her birthday.

The 41-year-model is holding a party to celebrate her birthday and wants to take the time to remember Bowie, who passed away on January 10 after battling cancer, reports mirror.co.uk.

"Kate was devastated to hear about David's death. So guests will channel their inner-Bowie and the 1980s attire. She wants the party to be a celebration of his life as well as hers. It's going to be wild ... Kate loves dressing up and has invited all her friends. She told us to come in the style of her pal's in 'Absolutely fabulous'”, a source said.

Bowie was close to Moss as he had even asked her to collect his award for Best Male Solo Artist at the Brit Awards in 2014 where she wore his famous Ziggy Stardust leotard.
