Kuwait: PWAK holds fun-filled annual get-together

Kuwait, Jan 15: Pamboor Welfare Association Kuwait (PWAK) held their fun-filled annual get-together at Friends Auditorium, Salmiyah here on Friday evening, January 8. 

The annual get-together celebration started at 7.30 pm with an introduction of all the dignitaries by compere Sanson Noronha. President, PWAK, Johnson Martis welcomed the chief guest Fr Noel D’Almeda and all the parishioners. Fr Noel then invoked God’s blessing at the start of the programme. 

As many as 75 parishioners, including children, participated in the annual get-together.

Children welcomed the chief guests, Fr Noel D’Almeda, parish priest of St Daniel Comboni, Abbassiya, Kuwait with flower bouquet.

All the sponsors and media were honored by Fr Noel on the occasion. General secretary Babita Monterio read out the annual report of the association, highlighting the achievements of PWAK.

Fr Noel praised PWAK members for their dedication towards the Pamboor parish and was thankful to all the PWAK members who kept the committee united. 

As part of entertainment programme, beautiful dances were performed by Viola, Alvita, Valentina, Dylan and Stenwill which were appreciated by everyone. 

Santa entertained children and adults. Christmas carols were sung by Sunil and team. Anil accompanied the group on keyboard. 

Number of games (including Housie Housie) for children and adults were conducted during the event. Prizes were distributed to all the winners of different games by committee members.

Johnson Fernandes thanked all who helped to make this program successful and memorable one.  M&M Caterers, Salmiyah provided the delicious food for the evening.

Rocking music was played by DJ Roshan on the occasion.

Samson Noronha compered the programme.
