Mangaluru, Jan 17: Karnataka Agencies, authorised dealers for Mahindra & Mahindra vehicles, launched the all new SUV, 'Mahindra KUV100' in a glittering ceremony held in its premises at Jeppu here on Saturday January 16.
President of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Ram Mohan Pai Maroor launched the vehicle by pressing the launch button.
In his address prior to the launch, Maroor said, "I have always admired the managing partner of Karnataka Agencies R C Rodrigues for his entrepreneurship. I have been a sportive person since childhood. I love Mahindra for the reason that it has its own football and hockey club teams and great hockey players like Joachim Karvalo and Dhanraj Pillai who have earned fame in the international arena are from Mahindra team.
"Mahindra jeeps have always been the safest and most reliable vehicles. Most of the Mahindra vehicles, being SUVs, give the best experience. I congratulate R C Rodrigues on the launch of the new vehicle," he added.
Managing partner of Karnataka Agencies R C Rodrigues said, "Mahindra and Mahindra has achieved the top rank in customer satisfaction index by JD Power, Singapore which is a matter of pride for us. It has also earned the black belt feat in all quarters of the previous year which is a remarkable achievement.
"The new KUV200 is the result of the promise of Mahindra and Mahindra to its stakeholders to make it one of the top ten car manufacturers of the world," he added.
"Today Karnataka Agencies has employed 600 people directly and another 100 indirectly. We will launch our new exclusive showroom in Puttur within two weeks and in Udupi by the end of the financial year. We have recieved positive response from the youth for KUV 100. It is the dream vehicle for those who cannot own an SUV for various reasons," he said.
