Dubai: 'Kelarai Milan 2016' to reunite parishioners for first time

Media Release

Dubai, Jan 18: Parishioners of St Anne Church, Kelarai, Mangaluru dwelling in UAE will come together for the first time at a unique reunion 'Kelarai Milan 2016' planned at Quick Bite Restaurant, Near Marco Polo Hotel, Al Muteen Street in the city on February 5.

“There are a good number of parishioners who have been working in UAE for a long period of time. This is a good opportunity for people to see people they have not seen in a long time and it is a good place for everyone to come together,” said Anup Monteiro, a member of the organizing team. “The idea is to just bring all parishioners together once a year to relive fond old memories and to cement a long lasting bond among parishioners. No plans of forming any association are on agenda,” he said.

The reunion will kick off at 10.00 am and will be on till 4.00 pm. The event will include some fun games, cultural activities from talented parishioners along with scintillating buffet lunch. DJ Sachin, Unique Planners will perform during the event.

The event is open for Kelarai parishioners by invitation. The invitations are available with Anup Monteiro and Gladson Menezes. For further details kindly contact 0561095822, 0528595758, 0564554438.

    Dear Anup,

Very good move taken by the Kelarai parishioners working in Dubai. Congratulations. Initial stage it is good just for a get-to-gather and knowing each other better. Keep the spirits high. Shall pass on this message through local contacts in Kelarai to inform those in Dubai.
