Udupi: Pejawar Swamiji's former driver and associate gets death threat

Udupi, Jan 22: Muhammed Arif from Doddanagudde here, who had earlier worked as driver of Pejawar Sri Vishweshateetha Swamiji, received a death threat over telephone from Dubai on Thursday January 21 afternoon, it is learnt.

Arif has continued to be a well-wisher and avid supporter of the Swamiji even after leaving the job.

A team of Muslim volunteers had come together under the leadership of Arif during this year's Paryaya festival, and had organized programmes like Horekanike presentation, blood donation camp, and distribution of buttermilk to devotees at the festival.

It is gathered that the caller warned to handle Arif in a fitting manner, finding fault with his association with Pejawar Swamiji. Arif has filed a complaint in the town police station here on Thursday about this threatening call.

    It is very unfortunate and sad to note that poor,trustworthy former driver of Pejavar Swamiji Mr.Mohammad Arif is getting death threats from overseas for his good deeds from radical goons and religious lunatics.It shows their mean mindedness and it indicate that one should not perform good things to the society.Under his leadership whatever he has done like Hora Kaanike,drinks arrangements to the devotees at his own interest is highly commendable and laudable.One should felicitate him for his good work rather than inviting and felicitating rogue ministers. Muhammad Arif should be given and provided adequate security in view of his death threats.Well done Mr.Mohammed Arif.We appreciate you and your good deeds.

    Sadist people never wish for peace & harmony, they always enjoy hate-rate & violence.

    One can find the worst examples in Pakistan, where sadist terrorist, when they are not able to kill OUTSIDE people, they start killing their OWN people!!!

    Most of the people don't know that Pejawar Swamiji had Muslim driver whom he trusted and in return Arif showed more love towards Swamiji. His Contribution like horekanike, blood donation camp during Paryaya should be appreciated..He is a ordinary man but did extraordinary work..May God Bless him..
