Mangaluru: Komu Souharda Vedike to hold 'sahabalve sagara'

Mangaluru, Jan 27: “The Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike on Saturday January 30 will organize 'sahabalve sagara', a national convention” said K L Ashok, state general secretary, Komu Souharda Vedike.



Addressing media persons here at a press meet on January 27 he said, "The national convention will be held at Townhall in the city from 9 am to 8 pm on January 30. Various seminars will be held at the convention under the stage name of people who have worked for peace in the society. On Kudmul Ranga Rao stage, the convention will be inaugurated by senior artiste Sadananda Suvarna who will inaugurate the convention. At 2.45 pm there will be an interactive session on the role of political parties to build a harmonious society on the Raani Abbaka stage. This will be inauguared by Dinesh Amin Mattu, chief ministers media advisor. Ministers Sathish Jarakiholi and U T Khader will be the chief guests. Later on the Bappa Beary stage a valedictory programme will be held. Chief guests for the valedictory function will be Yogendra Yaadav, swaraj abhiyana state leader, Teesta Setalvad, famous human rights activist and others will be present.

Suresh Bhatt Bakrabailu, district president, Saajida Moomin, district vice president, Umar U H, general secretery, Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike and others were present.
