Kundapur: Local killed in hit-and-run accident

Kundapur, Jan 28: After an unidentified vehicle hit a pedestrian and sped away on the night of Tuesday January 26 near Hemmady circle in the taluk, a local lost his life.

Annappa Chandan from Hemmady was killed in this accident. Annappa was crossing the road when he was knocked down. The vehicle which caused this accident did not care to provide him medical assistance, it is said.

On the basis of complaint filed by a family member of Annappa, a case stands registered in the traffic police station here.
