Fight erupts again at Mangaluru jail - Two injured

Mangaluru, Jan 30: Fight erupted again at the district prison here which resulted in two persons getting injured. The incident took place on Friday evening of January 29.

As per sources, the fight started between Vijaya from Mangaladevi and Chandrahasa Poojary gangs. But the police who intervened in time managed to end the fight within minutes.

Two injured persons were rushed to the Wenlcok hospital for treatment. The injuries are said to be of minor nature.

It is recalled that the fight between undertrails last time ended in the deaths of two persons.

    I don't understand why Govt is placing all members of each gang in one jail together? They should be given diff time for breakfast, and other things so that they never meet face to face... MANGALORE NEEDS SMART JAIL - SMART CITY IS A NIGHTMARE FOR LOCAL LEADERS OF MLORE, They lost because of their cunning and corrupt mentality...

    Jail must be a place where they reform convicts and not a place where criminals get into more criminal activities Hope the authorities are listening Anyway good that the jail warden contained the fight with in minutes
