No power cut in state promises energy minister D K Shivakumar

Mangaluru, Jan 31: When there were fears that there would be power cut due to shortage of water, energy minister D K Shivakumar has said that there would not be any power cuts in the state.

“If there is any electricity shortage, we will buy from others states. But we will not have power cuts in the state,” said D k Shivakumar in Kinnigoli near here on Saturday, January 30.

He was speaking to media persons after taking part in a private function.

“Please be rest assured that there will be continuous power supply during exams this year.” the minister added.
