Three Ranks in MBA for St Aloysius College

Mangalore, Sep 11: AIBA, St Aloysius College, Mangalore has secured all the first three ranks in MBA in the Mangalore University MBA programme 2007. Laxmishree Kini got the first rank, Ranjitha Rebello secured the second and Angela Veronica has secured the third rank in the University exams.

AIBA has secured cent percent results in MBA with 16 distinctions in semester IV and 37th first classes. This is the second batch of MBA students graduating from AIBA, St Aloysius College. AIBA has obtained approval from AICTE to start one more batch with the total intake of 120, and 120 students have joined this year.
St Aloysius College has plans for setting up a new residential campus at Beeri, Ullal for the Management and IT programmes. The foundation stone of this campus will be laid on 20 October 2007 and we are expecting the first phase to be completed in another two years.

St Aloysius College is also planning to have exchange programmes with some Universities from US and Canada. Fr. Denzil Lobo SJ, Director, AIBA had preliminary discussions with the administration of University of Waterloo , Canada regarding the ACTUARIAL SCIENCE programme which will start from the next academic year. Students with engineering background will be selected for the sponsored programme.
