Mangaluru, Feb 3: A four days retreat was inaugurated at Saint Anthony’s Ashram Jeppu in preparation for the feast of Relic of the Saint to be celebrated on 15 February.
Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu the vicar general of Mangalore diocese inaugurated the retreat by garlanding the Holy Bible.
Fr Onil D’Souza the director of the Institutes welcomed the people for the retreat. Fr Francis D'Souza the Administrator and Fr Peter Gonsalves the Asst director were present on the occasion. People in large numbers participated in the retreat on the first day.
Reputed preacher Fr Anil Dev from Varanasi will preach the retreat. Fr Ambrose D'Souza SVD is teh translator. Bro Vinod from Bengaluru, Bro Christopher and Miss Dasseline from Mangaluru will lead the music ministry.
The retreat will be held from February 2 to 4.
