M'luru: Gonzaga School hosts competition on Shakespeare’s characters

Mangaluru, Feb 3: The students of St Aloysius Gonzaga School hosted a role play competition on Shakespeare’s characters in connection with the British Council International School activities at the Alangana hall at 10.00 am on January 30.







Scenes  from The Tempest, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, Julius Caesar and Macbeth were enacted. The judges Suma Iyer and Diana Dias lecturers of St Aloysius PU College (Department of English) appreciated the astounding performance of the students who enacted their roles with passion and charisma. These budding dramatists left the audience spellbound.

The judges after the analysis of the performance said that the students had enacted their roles far beyond their age and expectations. Parents who witnessed this event were extremely happy and took pride in the school’s initiative in broadening the horizons of young learners and enriching education through global learning.
