Venissa Carol Quadros bags 3 Bronze medals at National School Athletic Championship

Mangaluru, Feb 3: Venissa Carol Quadros of St Aloysius P U College represented Karnataka State at the 61st National School Athletics Championship at Kozhikode, Kerala and secured Bronze Medal in 400 mtrs run, 400 mtrs hurdles and 4x400 mtrs relay and has made the State and College proud of her success.


Karan Gollerkeri Selected for International Table Tennis Tournament

Karan Gollerkeri studying in II PUC at St Aloysius P U College has been selected to represent the country at the International School Games Championship in Table Tennis to be held at Eilat, Israel from April 2 to 8. Karan had earlier won the National level Tournament held at Telangana in January 2016 representing Karnataka state.

His passion for Table Tennis developed at the age of twelve and thereafter he has competed in several State Ranking Tournaments held by the Karnataka Table Tennis Association. He has also represented the Inter District Tournament held by the Karnataka Board of Education in Banahatti, North Karnataka and has been playing for the State from the past five years. He attributes his success to his parents especially his father who encouraged him throughout to pursue his dreams.
