Mangaluru: Woman commits suicide by jumping into well

Mangaluru, Feb 4: Mohini(55), daughter of Kumpala Kujumagadde resident Sunder Poojary committed suicide by jumping into the well belonging to her uncle at Kaneeruthota Bandikolya, situated a little distance away from her house on Thursday morning, February 4.


It is said that there was nobody in the house of her uncle at the time of the incident. Her husband had died one and a half years ago. She has taken this extreme step as she was disturbed after his death. She has left behind two sons and a daughter. A case is registered in Ullala police station.

    So sad. May her soul rest in eternal peace. There may be several reasons for her death. Only the investigation by the police will bring some light to her death.

    Very sad .I dont think it is a suecide of her own.when nobody was at home,noone knows the truth.No mother will leave back her children back ,specially husband is not there.Should be a thorough inspection is a must.May her Soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to the Family.
