Madikeri: Former state minister, M M Nanaiah, breathes his last

Madikeri, Feb 8: Former state minister, two-time MLA and district Congress leader, M M Nanaiah (75), passed away on Sunday February 7. His end came in a private hospital here. He is survived by wife and two children.

Nanaiah was a minister in S M Krishna's cabinet in the state. Most of the time, he worked as district level leader of the party. Nanaiah was identified as a honest politician interested in development of all sectors, without confining his help to party activists alone. In the recent past, he had stayed away from active politics because of ill health.

Kodagu district Congress in-charge president, T P Ramesh, former president, B T Pradeep, minister, Dinesh Gundu Rao and many other leaders have mourned Nanaiah's death.
