Mangaluru, Feb 8: It was a memorable evening for the audience who were in full attendance at Kalaangann in Shaktinagar here on Sunday, February 7, where 'Haas N Nach Bindas' show was presented by Arun and Alwyn Danthy, popularly known as Danthy brothers.

The show had memorable songs of yesteryears and fast track comedy skits for which Danthy brothers are known. Danthy brothers, popular masters of ceremony and anchors in coastal Karnataka are presently anchoring 'Ami Dhogi Sezaara', a popular weekly programme in Daijiworld 24x7 TV telecast on Wednesdays at 9 pm.

Songs composed by Wilfy Rebimbus, Chris Perry, MickMax, Melvyn Rodrigues, Eric Ozario/Mandd Sobhann, Ullas Buyanv, Lloyd Taccode, Roshan Belman, V V Santos and Prashanth and Nelson were ably rendered by singers Eric Ozario, Joyce Ozario, Anil, Vijay, Willy, Senet, Prajoth, Arun Danthy, Sapna, Jerry Bajjodi, Joel, Nester, Carol, Eden, Johnson and Nihal.

Raj, Raj, Rosh and Manoj played the keyboards, drums, lead guitar and bass guitar respectively to make the songs merrier.

Godwin Sparkle and two little children danced to the tunes of a few songs.

Alwyn Danthy, Royston and Priya of comedy team 'Bindass Pernal' enacted two comedy skits during intervals. Melroy provided the music for the skits.

Joel Attur and D J Rosh rendered special help for the show.

Arun Danthy in his trademark humorous style compered the nite which was a hit among the audience. He also imitated Eric Ozario, Manu Bantwal and Tulu actor Devdas Kapikad.

The programme was part of the 170th monthly theatre of Mandd Sobhann.

Danthy brothers presented a wrist watch as a gift to Eric Ozario during the show. Alwyn Danthy said, "Eric is known for punctuality. He introduced the tradition and culture of respecting and following time in Konkani. The programmes conducted by him have started at the specified time, no matter how many people were on time. Now audience come well in advance because they know that organisers value time. We thank Eric for his contribution."

A mention was made of Daijiworld's Walter Nandalike and Praveen Tauro who supported Danthy Brothers in conducting the nite.
