    My dear Irene,
Congratulations for bagging late Victor Rodrigues Memorial Literary award. I am top of the world now because I tried my level best to bring notice to the organization(s) about your contributionand what a kind of writer you are. At last I gave up and even expressed to the members that I will never ever appeal for Irene for award. I also warned them tomorrow something happens to her please do not light a candle and pass a resolution for the loss to Konkani. One should recognize and appreciate one’s credentials when someone is alive and not afterwords. There were members who did not born when Irene was writing. Majority of members did not know who Irene is.
It pained me a lot and now at least I thank the family of late Victor Rodrigues who was my friend and comrade. At last some one recognized Irene now.
Irene, I am so happy for you. Those who read your books will value your credentials.
