Air India Express introduces standalone flights on Mangaluru-Muscat sector, timings revised

Mangaluru, Feb 9: Air India Express has introduced standalone flights on Mangaluru - Abu Dhabi - Mangaluru and Mangaluru - Muscat - Mangaluru sectors, with effect from Monday February 8. Earlier, there was a single combined flight operating on both these destinations.

This has been done mainly to improve aircraft utilization, stated a press release from Air India Express.


The revised timing of these flights are as given below :

Mangaluru : Muscat - Mangaluru : Flight no IX817 / IX818

Departure : 0620 hrs
Arrival : 1350 on Tuesdays / Thursdays and Sundays


Mangaluru - Abu Dhabi - Mangaluru: Flight no IX815 / IX816

Departure : 2120 hrs on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays and Saturdays
Arrival : 0555 hrs on Tuesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays and Sundays

All passengers who had booked earlier on the combined flight IX817 / IX818 on Abu Dhabi or Muscat route are requested to note the above timing and days of operation and get their bookings re-accommodated accordingly.

    Dear Air India / Air India Express management.

    It would be a great relief if you shift you Hat Hill office to a suitable place where people can approach. Currently it is located in an isolated area within the forest. Let the administration office be there, but at least for travel section.

    Mangalore-Muscat : Departure-6.20am ,arriaval Muscat at 8.10am,

    Muscat-Mangalore : Departure 9.20am , Arrival M'lore at 1:50pm

    Time in respective destination. Eg 6.20 depart from IXE. Total journey 3 hrs 10 mins. Muscat local time 8.20. Muscat is 1.30 hrs behind india time.
