Dubai: MVCA organizes family games day

Dubai, Feb 10: 'Udentichin Neketram' Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association successfully organized 'Family Games Day' in the city on February 5.

























As mentioned it was a complete family event where people of all age groups exhibited their skills in different games and enjoyed the day.

The event started with a prayer led by Joshve D’Souza. The entire crowd was divided into six groups, each group consisted of men, women and children. Games like badminton, cricket, throwball, volleyball, south Canara’s rural game lagori and climax being tug of war were played between these teams. At the end team red was crowned champions for their winning performance in most of the games. Evenly contested badminton doubles final was won by Clifford Danthis-Keith Suares and Joshve D'Souza-Sunny Rodrigues became runner ups. Exciting fun games were conducted for children of different age groups by Richard Saldanha.

It was a joyous atmosphere where all the participants spent quality time among the community members, sharing light moments and relaxing their exhausted muscles by participating in these exciting games.
MVCA president Cyprian Fernandes, along with MVCA committee member honoured the winners with medals and prizes. Vinay Pinto compered the prize distribution ceremony while Ullas Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks.
