Mangaluru, Feb 10: MLA representing Mangalore (north) constituency, B A Mohiuddin Bava, suffered minor injuries in an accident which occurred at Panambur here on Wednesday February 10 morning.
When the MLA's car was moving on national highway 66 in front of Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers, the railway gate there was being pulled across the road.
To avoid hitting the person concerned, driver of the MLA's car swerved the car aside, which then fell into the roadside storm drain.
Bava was injured in his left hand as a consequence. He has been admitted to a hospital here for treatment.
The driver too escaped with minor injuries. The car suffered damage.
