Udupi: United Christians trophy cricket tournament to be held on Feb 13

Udupi, Feb 12: A two day district level 'United Christians trophy - 2016' organised by Kadosh Revival Ministeries and Bethel Pentecostal Church will be held on Saturday February 13 at Christian PU College ground, Mission compound, here.

The event will be inaugurated by Yashpal Suvarna, president of undivided fish federation and marketing.

The prize distribution ceremony will be held on Sunday January 14 during the valedictory ceremony.

Vinay Kumar Sorake, urban development and district in-charge minister and K Annamalai, superintendent of police will distribute prizes to the winners.

Nearly 20 teams have already registered their team names.

The tournament will consist of five overs.

Kadosh Revival Ministeries was established in January 2015 with the motto 'to have fellowship and unity among Christian youngsters.'

The tag line of this organisation is 'How can a young person stay on the path of purity and by living according to your word'.

Kadosh has also organised a cricket tournament last year.

Besides this, they have conducted free medical eye camps at various villages in North Karnataka.

They have also organised youth motivational and social awareness programmes in the city which focussed on the Gospel of Jesus.

There will be a live musical performance on Gospel of Jesus on this occasion. It is open to all gathered here.

Winners will receive a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and the runner up team will receive Rs 15,000.

Individual prizes will be awarded to the best players for man of the series, best bowler, best batsman, man of the match, man of the series, best sixes and others.
