Puttur: Motor bike rider killed in accident

Puttur, Feb 15: In an incident which occurred at Piligoodu near Uppinangady in the taluk, a motor bike rider met with an accident. In this incident, which occurred on the night of Saturday February 13, the rider lost his life.

After his motor bike suddenly tripped and fell to the road, rider of the vehicle, identified as Devadas (20) from Kukkila in Machchina village, who was working for a garage here, passed away. He was going home from garage in his motor bike on Saturday night, twhen he wheels of his vehicle entered a pothole at Piligoodu unexpectedly, at which the motor bike fell to the road.

Devadas, who was seriously injured due to the force of his fall, was taken to the government hospital here. However, he had breathed his last by then, it is said.

A case about the incident stands registered in the traffic police station here.
