Jubail, Feb 15: The inaugural match of HF 2016 Cup Cricket Tournament was played between Deals Arabia and Eastern Blue. After losing the toss First Deal Arabia batted first and scored 56 for 4 in their allotted 8 overs, while Eastern Arabia chased the target in 6.1 overs losing 2 wickets. Fawaz was declared Man of the Match for his 34 runs in just 24 balls.
The second match of the HF 2016 Cup Tournament was played between Egalite and Samcon. Egalite won the toss and put Samcon to bat. Samcon scored 74/2 in their allotted 8 overs while Egalite won by 6 wickets. Hamza was Man of the match and he scored 35 runs in 18 balls taking 1 wicket.
The third match of HF 2016 Cup Tournament was played between Blue Star and Amptitude. Losing the toss, Amptitude put on a target of 56/8 in 8 overs. Blue Star was unable to chase the target and Amptitude won by 18 runs. Man of the match was Shabaz for his all-round performance taking 2 wickets and scoring 17 runs in 9 balls.
The fourth match of the HF 2016 Cup Tournament was played between Amaco and Al Salah. Amaco won the toss and restricted Al Salah for 49/4 in 8 overs. Amaco chased the target in just 5.5 overs losing 3 wickets. Man of the match was Atif of Amaco for his all round performance taking 2 wickets and scoring 11 runs in 9 balls.
The fifth match of the HF 2016 Cup was played between SASP and Al Batin. SASP won the toss and elected to bat scoring 66/4 in the allotted 8 overs and defending their total as Al Batin were all out for 47 runs. Man of the match was Sampath for his all round performance taking 1 wicket and scoring 12 runs in 8 balls.
The sixth match of the HF 2016 cup was played between MISC and Al Falah. MISC won the toss. SASP scored 66/4 in their allotted 8 overs. MISC won the match by 5 wickets in 7.5 balls. Mustafa of MISC was declared Man of the Match for his 13 crucial runs in 8 balls.
The first quarter final of HF 2016 Cup was played between Egalite and MISC. Losing the toss MISC scored 70/6 in 8 overs and defended their total as Egalite lost 9 wickets scoring 53 runs in 8 overs. Samad captain of MISC for his all round performance with bat and ball and field helped MISC to qualify for the semis as the first team of the tournament. Samad scored highest individual runs at the tournament of 46 runs in just 28 balls and a bowling figure of 2 overs, 8 runs and 2 wickets taking 2 catches. He was declared Man of the Match.
