Udupi, Feb 16: A deanery level Way of the Cross has been scheduled, by parish pastoral council, to be held at St Antony’s church, Kuntalnagar on Sunday, March 13 evening from 3 pm to 6.30 pm, says the communication from the church.

Preparations for confession will start at 3 pm and confessions will take place from 3.30. Eucharistic Mass will be celebrated at 4.30 pm by Monsignor Baptist Menezes the vicar general of Udupi diocese as the main celebrant. The special way of the cross will commence at 5.30 pm to end by 6.30 pm. Fr Prakash Lobo Capuchin will conduct the way of cross and deliver the sermon.

Fr Fred Mascarenhas the dean of Udupi deanery, Fr Denis D'Sa the parish priest of Kuntalnagar with Valerian Mathias and Nelson D'Souza, vice-president and secretary of parish pastoral council respectively, have extended warm welcome for the annual event. There will be guest priests for confessions.
