PM Modi responds to Mangaluru student's letter - Road repair begins

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Feb 16: Keeping intact his reputation for responding to letters received from citizens of the country about the problems faced by them, Prime Minister (PM), Narendra Modi, has acted promptly to a letter written to him by a Mangalurean student. In addition, Kerala government has been asked to do the needful, and the work sought by the student has been taken up within a month's time!

Ashwal Shetty, a resident of Kodibail near Mangalpady, Manjeshwar in Kasargod taluk, is a degree course student of Sharada Vidyalaya here. Shetty, who had read in the media that Modi has been known to quickly react and respond to problems brought to his notice by common people, had written to the PM through a letter, about the problems bothering his village. The Prime Minister's Office has since written a letter to Kerala government to undertake asphalting of the road as sought by the student. Accordingly, the assembly secretariat of Kerala has ordered Mangalpady gram panchayat to take up this work, and the road repair work has begun.

Ashwal had drawn the attention of the PM to the wretched condition of the road in Kodibail in Mangalpady panchayat, which is devoid of basic facilities. He wrote in his letter that walking on this road during rainy season is a daunting task. Thereafter, correspondence began from PM's office, and Ashwal Shetty got a letter within a month about the initiatives undertaken towards solving of the problem. The 200 metre road, repair of which has been undertaken only after Shetty wrote to PM and the PM intervened in the matter, makes one to cogitate on the lack of concern on the part of local people's representatives. The initiative undertaken by Ashwal Shetty, who is active in social activities, has come in for lavish praise.

Ashwal Shetty says that the care and concern shown by the PM to a letter written by even a student like him has baffled him. "The concern shown by Narendra Modi towards even small issues is unbelievable. It has provided me with an unparrallaled experience," he stated.

no wonder... that's what Modi's governance. Now thousand letters will go and if no response let's not blame Modi for that. At least we have some PM or PM's office which will respond to public letters. Congress and other parties can not think of these things... they are busy in anti national movements , just to get their power back. TO the extreme supporting terrorists.

Does the Nation needs to follow this pattern?
IS NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE FOR THE SYSTEM LAPSE.
Instead of taking action against those Leaders Inactions too, PMO responds to only start the works. Is It right?

Yesterday 25 students from our locality wrote about very bad roads in our area. Let us see how Modi responds. And after this news was published in all news papers, more than one thousand students are reported to have written to Modi about their grievances.
Because this Ashval Shetty Case is fully stage managed by Modi's publicity dept in Kerala & Karnataka. That is why this case is being given such a huge publicity in all news papers and TV media. Modi's publicity dept is very good at such gimmicks to hog popularity.

The comments here are weird. Kerala is ruled by Congress and the repairs will be done by Kerala PWD. So Congress government can take credit in the next election.
PMO knew this well, but we have to appreciate that it forwarded direction to Kerala government. And Kerala government also did not play politics by delaying the works.

Let Mr. Modi initiate strict measures on local body (Corporation and other administrative authorities) who work only for money and neglect common man’s grievances.
    Welcome step by PM.
Also Mr. Modi should be prompt on communal or religion based issues.
Then ‘Congress mukth Bharat’ makes some sense.

This show the concern of our PM for even the smallest matter concerning the citizen of India. And paid media is portraying Mr Modi govt as something as a Demon,anti-dalit,anti-minorities.

If one cannot do then should not promise. The person who cannot fulfill his own promise then what can he do? Before promising a common person will think 100 times can do or no.

we heard Garibi Hatavo in 1971
    and 2016 is running
almost 35 year ruled by congress between 1971-2014.
What is achievement on Garibi Hatavo?
    Am asking after 43 year
    not after 2 year.
Please understand the difference between 43 year and 2 year.

Nobody gave a specific time or specific amount for the Garibhi Hatavo but continuously there were so many schemes made to the poor people. The farmer became the landlord (uluvavane boomiyodeya), so many loans without repaying, Distributed so many equipment to small scale industries etc etc.

Difference is that before election he promised 15 lacs in 60 days for everyone but after election nobody knows what is the amount of black money in swiss account.

Anyway nobody is waiting for the money and next 1000 years also we will not get it.
