Bhatkal: Income tax department raids PBI Construction Company office

Bhatkal, Feb 18: Income tax department officials conducted a raid on PBI Construction company and their group situated at Bunder road here on Wednesday February 17.

The officials who arrived from Mangaluru in the morning on February 17 went to their office, house and newly started hotel and conducted inspection.

While the officials who arrived in two vehicles were conducting inspection, more officials arrived in another three vehicles for inspection. They also conducted raids on the house of builder named Fawaz.

The team consisted of Udupi Income tax department additional commissioner Pandith Aradhya and other officials.

The details of the inspections are not known.
