Mangaluru, Feb 19: Valedictory function of Envision- 2016 was held at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, on February 18.
Dikshith Rai, founder and CEO of CodeCraft Technologies in the city was the chief guest of the function. In this national level techno- cultural fest more than 800 students from over 50 engineering colleges participated in 38 technical and 8 cultural events. Chief guest of the function distributed the prizes to the winners. He addressed the students and told the importance of conducting and participating in such events.
The principal of the college Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D presided over the function.
In the technical events the overall championship was won by PACE, Mangaluru and runner-up was St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjuru.
In the cultural events, the overall championship was won by Alvas College of Engineering and runner–up was SDMIT, Ujire.
