Kuwait: Maxim Pereira to Perform on KCWA 20th Annual Day

KCWA Media Release

Kuwait, Sep 19: Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA), the premier and leading Mangalorean Catholic association in Kuwait is on the threshold of completing 20 Glorious years of its existence & service in 2008. It is a matter of great honor & privilege that KCWA has strived hard to achieve its basic motto of ‘Educating Poor Children’ back home and all of us at KCWA take immense pride in announcing that a substantial amount of success has been accomplished over the years.

To inaugurate the 20th Anniversary celebrations KCWA will be unfolding a Two Day Extravaganza in October 2007, a “Family Get-together” (a family party) on Friday 12th October 07 at 6:30 pm and "Sumadhur Saanz 2007" (melodious evening) on Saturday 13th October 07 at 6:00 pm. Both programs will be held at the Indian Community School (Senior) Auditorium, Salmiya.

The “Family Party” on 12th October is for KCWA members, with a whole evening of non-stop entertainment, live & DJ music, dance, gifts galore, games for all ages along with sumptuous dinner buffet & snacks.

A relaxing "Sumadhur Saanz 2007" will be presented on 13th October, which includes sensational singing performances by local talents in Kuwait to expose their flair, hilarious jokes by well known local artists and a Dinner buffet. The highlight of both evenings is Guest artist ‘Maxim Pereira’ of ‘Glorious’ fame (Angelore / Dubai) who will render his golden voice to the audience.

During the second day’s show, the first “Johny Surathkal Memorial Arts Award” will also be presented. The evening's proceeds will go to Bidar, the Mission Station of Gulbarga Diocese (formerly adopted by Mangalore), to facilitate education for poor children. All other proceeds will go towards KCWA Poor Children’s education fund.

Due to space constraints, entry passes are very limited. Last date to collect your entry passes for both the above programs is on 30th September 07. Rush to book your entry passes with any of the Managing Committee members or at M&M Confectionery, Salmiya. Sale of passes will be strictly on ‘FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS’. Hurry up to avoid disappointment.
