Mangaluru: Prashanth Poojary murder case- two accused secure bail

Mangaluru, Feb 21: Two accused in the flower vendor and Bajrang Dal activist Prashanth Poojary murder case, have secured bail from state high court on Friday, February 19, it is learnt.

Badruddin and Imthiaz from Gantalkatte are the persons who secured bail.

Prashant Poojary was murdered near Samaja Mandira in the flower market in Moodbidri on October 9 last year. Police had arrested 11 persons in relation to this murder later. Badruddin was arrested from his house at Gantalkatte while Imthiaz was arrested in Mumbai when he was trying to flee to Dubai through Mumbai airport.

Out of the eleven accused, two have managed to get bail from the high court while others are still languishing. Asmath Basha had argued for the duo.
