Karkala: Honest bus conductor returns purse to owner

Karkala, Feb 22: The conductor and driver of a bus have shown their honesty through an example by returning the purse containing Rs 1 lac worth gold and cash to the owner.

Muniyalu Ellare Gardharabettu Laxmi G Sheena Acharya had lost his purse while traveling to Karkala on Padmambika bus on Saturday February 20. He was worried when he came to know on reaching Karkal that he had lost the purse.

The purse was found by a woman in the bus. She got down from the bus after handing it over to the conductor, Ajekar Moorooru resident Anwar. When the children of Laxmi inquired about it, the bus conductor Ansar and driver Shukur handed over Rs 1 lac worth gold jewelery and cash to the owners, Muniyalu Ellare G S Purandara Purohit Moodbidri and G S Gangadhar Acharya and earned their praise.

Journalist Sukumar Muniyal was present.

    I think here the honest Person is the woman who found it and handed over to conductor.She should be honoured.was it mentioned ?Even the conductor also is honest enough to give back.Good that at least some honest persons are existing in this world so that world makes interesting.
