Daijiworld Media Network - Kolar (SP)

Kolar, Feb 26: Shylaja (13), an eighth standard student of the government high school at Gounimarapalli in Srinivasapura taluk in the district, who had injected water to 12 children playing with her by using a discarded syringe, was taken into custody by police. It has transpired that the girl, who belongs to Digavamorampalli village, had used a syringe used for injecting cattle when playing with children.

Policemen from Gounipalli station, who arrested the girl, said that the girl was produced in juvenile justice court at KGF, whereupon she was remanded to judicial custody.

It is now being claimed that Shylaja, who administered injection at Nakkalagudda in Kodipalli gram panachayat on February 22 suffers from some kind of psychological disorder. A case had been registered against Shylaja on the basis of complaint filed by Yashodhamma from Nakkalagudda. The policemen, who arrested the girl on Wednesday night, produced her in the court on Thursday.

The policemen said that the girl has been giving vague answers and widely differing versions on the episode. She was booked under Juvenile Justice Act. They added that all the 12 children who were recipients of injection are safe.

The person who disposed the syringe must be booked not the child. In our country the murderers, criminals and people responsible for riots and killing hundreds and thousands are roaming free and our police is behind innocent child.

How the discarded syringe was available to the ignorant girl...? Who is responsible for discarding a syringe in a irresponsible way...? If the girl is booked for her ignorance ... I think the person who discarded the syringe irresponsibly should also be booked for the offense
