Dammam: Khobar United emerge winners at RCA tournament

Dammam, Feb 27: The spirit of cricket was well noticed in the teams Khobar United and Amaco who played in the finals of the first anniversary tournament of Rakha Cricket Association (RCA).



















Team Khobar United emerged winner of the tournment by defeating Amaco.

Khobar United won the toss and opted to field first. Amaco managed to score a decent total of 65 from 8 overs with superb batting from their veteran player Nayaz who hit 3 major sixes.

In the chase for 66 runs, KU got a good start from their batsmean who was in form, Thofeeq and Billal who managed to chase 7.2 overs losing 4 wickets.

It was a consecutive victory for team Khobar United as they were the champions of EPCA last week, thereby becoming one of the popular cricket teams of Saudi Arabia.

Organiser Noor and the guest presented the winner and runner up trophies to:

Dildar- best bowler
Mansoor- best batsman
Nayaz- best wicketkeeper
Billal- final man of the match
Thofeeq- man of the series

RCA members thanked all the sponsors and participants for their support.
