Mangaluru, Feb 29: Former minister Krishna J Palemar launched 'Nandagokul', a new project of Coastal Karnataka Developers, at Bejai New Road on Monday, February 29. Soon after that, he also inaugurated the launch ceremony. Bhoomi Pooja for the project was held on Sunday. 

In his address, Palemar said "Today we need builders who not only give best buildings but also who give the desired service after completion of the project. Many people are venturing into construction business in Karnataka, but only the builders of Coastal Karnataka keep their promise even after the completion. I call upon the people of Mangaluru to keep their surroundings clean and work for swachh Mangaluru. They should also cooperate for the widening of roads. If this happens, it will help us to overcome the hurdles we are experiencing today."

"I urge the developers to develop the outskirts of the city. Then customers can buy flats at very lesser price. We can also reduce the traffic density through this. I know the promoter Krishnaraj Mayya since he was 18. He knows what customers want in the city. I wish him and his partner good luck." Palemar added.

Speaking on the occasion, architect Suresh Pai said "It is pretty pleasing to note that the promoters of the venture are giving many amenities at the affordable price possible. I wish them good luck."

Praveen Tauro, marketing manager of Daijiworld.com, wished good luck to the promoters. He said "Sri Krishna had made Nandagokul as the best place to live in Mahabharata. Mangaluru has great potential unlike any city. As our city is getting ready to be a smart city, I wish that this place will also become a true Nandagokul and Sri Krishna dwells in our hearts.  "

The general manager of Syndicate Bank K T Rai in his presidential address said “70 percent of sales before the launch symbolize the popularity of builders in Coastal Karnataka. When builders give importance to honesty in dealings and timely completion, they naturally get more customers. Today the young engineers and other youth of Mangaluru are looking at Bengaluru for investments and for settling down. If we provide flats at affordable rates to them, we can make them remain in their home town and thus become part of the growth of the city."

Krishnaraj Salian gave an overview of the project to the gathered. Gurudath Shenoy rendered vote of thanks while Krishnaraj Mayya welcomed. RJ Anurag compered the programme.

Land owners Mahesh Parmar and Dinesh along with Bhaskar Gadiyar of Coastal Karnataka developers were present at the occasion.

Nandagokul is the fourth venture of Coastal Karnataka developers in the city. They have also kept the inaugural offer of Rs 3250 per sq ft for the first two days.
