Bhatkal, March 2: Majlise Isla va Tanzeem organization has expressed its anguish stating that the statement by MP Ananth Kumar Hegde about Islam is an attempt to preserve his political existence and is an indication of his heinous mentality.






President of the organization Mujamil Khazia speaking in a press conference called in Tanzeem office on Tuesday evening, March 1 said that Islam is a religion that proclaims peace. “It wants the success and welfare of human beings. Ananth Kumar Hegde dreaming of trying to wipe the religion is a matter of shame. His impatience to spoil peace and tranquillity and destroy mutual harmony has hurt the feelings of Muslims”, he said.

“We have already complained to the police to take stringent legal action against Ananth Kumar. We request Muslims that it is necessary to maintain peace without becoming victims of stealth playing with the feelings of the people. If the Police department does not take appropriate action, it is possible that the people will indulge in violent protests. So we urge them to take action”, he said.

Secretary Althaf Kharoori, Hanif Shabab, Yasir Barmavar Nadwi, Siddiq D F, Moulana Azeezurehman, Abdulla Damudi, K M Ashfaq, S M Farvez, Abdul Rauf Naithe were present.
