Mumbai, Mar 2 (NDTV): A dead dolphin has washed ashore on a beach on the outskirts of Mumbai.

The dolphin was spotted by villagers on the Bhoigaon Beach in Vasai this morning.

Forest officials are yet to reach the spot.

The cause of death is not yet known but locals say the dolphin seems to have injury marks on its body.
