Yadagiri: Vehicle turns turtle - three killed, seven injured

Yadagiri, Mar 3: A light passenger vehicle which suddenly swerved to a side in an attempt to save a girl, turned turtle, killing three passengers instantly. In this a accident, seven others suffered serious injuries.

The light passenger vehicle, known in local parlance as 'Tumtum', was moving through Bandalli village on Wednesday March 2 afternoon, when the driver saw that a girl suddenly crossed the path of the vehicle. He tried to apply break, at which the vehicle suddenly swerved and fell upside down. The ill-fated vehicle was going to Horuncha from the town.

Pannibai Chavan (35), Ramibai Chavan (40) and Bandibai Chavan (50), residents of Horuncha Tanda, were killed in the accident. The injured stand admitted into Kalaburagi district hospital and the government hospital in the town.
