Mangaluru, Mar 3: Locals were curious after they saw some items known to be signs of black magic left by unknown people on Court Road in the heart of the city on Thursday morning, March 3.

Items like coconut, banana, turmeric, kumkum and incense sticks used for black magic were found under an electric pole on Court Road here.

While some locals said that it is the handiwork of miscreants, others suspected that it was a black magic performed targeting the court. Some people even said, since the items were found under the electric pole, it was in connection with a person from Sullia being arrested for phoning the energy minister D K Shivakumar. There was no logical explanation as to how court can be targeted by black magic or the connection between black magic and arrest of the person.

Since the electric pole is situated outside the court premises, the 'black magic' incident was not recorded in the court CCTVs.

It was interesting for people to see such items seen in the surrounding of court.
