Valencia Church celebrates altar servers, Marian Sodality Day

Mangaluru, Mar 3: On Sunday February 27, altar servers and Marian Sodality day was celebrated at Valencia church.






































The celebration began with the Feastal mass at 8.15 am. Fr Roshan Crasta, director of Fr Muller Hospital, Thumbay was the main celebrant. Parish priest Fr James D’Souza and assistant parish priest Fr Clifford Pinto con-celebrated the mass. The liturgy and choir were led by the altar servers and Marian Sodality members. A huge offertory procession added more color to the celebration.

After the mass there was a get-together at the conference hall. The stage programme began with a prayer song. Fr Roshan Crasta, Fr James D’Souza, Fr Arun Lobo, resident priest, Arun Raj Rodrigues, vice president of Parish Pastoral Council, Leslie D’Souza, Secretory, Vinoy D’Sa, president of altar servers and Jane Mascarenhas president of Marian Sodality were present on the dias. Leesha D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Chief guest Fr Roshan Crasta, vice president Arun Raj Rodrigues and parish priest Fr James D’Souza addressed the gathering and delivered their message.

After the stage programme there was a short cultural programme. Fr Clifford Pinto, assistant parish priest conducted games for the children. Fr James D’Souza and Fr Arun Lobo distributed prizes to the winners. Neil D’Souza delivered the vote of thanks, Valery Lobo was MC of the programme.

The entire programme was concluded with a feastal meal and ice cream. The entire programme was led by Fr Clifford Pinto and Sr Mary D’Souza. It was a memorable day for the altar servers and Marian Sodality members.
